This series, shot on film in the Cairngorms in Scotland, was developed using tomato leaves from a plant I grew over the summer in 2025. Following the Sustainable Darkroom method of boiling leaves down with vitamin C and sodium carbonate, I finished with a variation of outcomes from the developer at different stages of its' use.

I processed my prints between 1 minute 30 seconds, to around 3 minutes. The length of time in the developer is visually present; shown in the vibrancy of the yellow tinge of the print. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the strength of the developer falters towards the end as shown in the images that are less contrasted than others.
